AKIRA ART OF WALL Katsuhiro Otomo × Kosuke Kawamura AKIRA ART EXHIBITION

 

As an exhibition to decorate the opening, "AKIRA ART OF WALL Katsuhiro Otomo x Kosuke Kawamura AKIRA ART EXHIBITION" will be exhibited again as a huge collage work that produced the temporary enclosure of Shibuya PARCO rebuilding work. "ART WALL" to be used is a work that reconstructs "AKIRA", a masterpiece of Katsuhiro Otomo, a leading manga artist and film director in Japan, jointly with collage artist Kosuke Kawamura.

 

At PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO on the 4th floor, "ART WALL", which has coexisted with the city of Shibuya for about two years, will be reexcavated from the construction site, and the temporary enclosure that has been damaged over time will be exhibited as a huge collage work.

In addition, we will hold an exhibition where you can realistically reproduce the precious original drawings and posters of the time, and the objects that appear in the works of AKIRA, and go back to the history of AKIRA ART WALL "AD2019" while the AKIRA music of Yamashiro Gumi resonates.

 

At B1F GALLERY X, we will carry out an installation to display huge three-dimensional objects. YAR, led by graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN, who has teamed up with various companies in Japan and overseas, including apparel brands, will be in charge of graphic design zone composition and spatial production. In addition, we will use the work to sell specially designed exhibition commemorative products and sell apparel brand collaboration products.
